Has anyone ever hear of road amnesia.?

i've been told it's a condition that happen to people who travel deeply,that causes them to lose their bearrings and forget where on earth they have be. any info will be appreciated greatlyHas anyone ever hear of road amnesia.?

I've heard something roughly speaking this. You get somewhere and realize that you don't recollect anything about the road you a moment ago traveled. It's not so much amnesia as just selective memory. You are retaining facts that are prominent or stimulating. You are not wasting brain room on the dull and repetitive.
