sorry for any spelling errors
also can you tell me the signs of the kidney shutting downHemodialysis?
There is no set time frame for how long one can live on dialysis. I used to guardianship for young adults who be on it for years with few problems. Because your friend have so many medical problems, his probability of dying sooner are much higher. It sounds as though he have a compromised heart, his venous circulation is very poor. That make his chances of stroke complex than the average person. His diabetes also puts him at a lofty risk for complications. I wonder how his vision is; complicated to believe it's very polite. He could very ably do ok on the dialysis, but succumb to complications from one of his other health problems. He have a lot going against him, I'm sorry to say aloud.
Every person is different. Some relations can live for many years on hemodialysis, others will later only a few weeks or days. It depends on the other medical conditions he have and their severity.
It seems that your friend have a number of diabetic complications, so he is still at risk for heart attacks and strokes from his vascular disease.
Signs of renal anticlimax include edema (swelling of the legs from fluid), decreased urine output, shortness of breath, fatigue, and drowsiness or confusion when toxins that should be removed by the kidneys build up.
